The Presidio Small lantern is designed by Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the tabletop.
The Presidio Small lantern is available in 2 finishes — Polished Nickel With Clear Glass and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Clear Glass. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
The width is 45.7 cm. It weighs 8.6 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. The size is balanced for standard ceiling heights and works over most dining tables without dominating.
The fitting works particularly well in hallways and living rooms. Its design language draws on classic design. Bulbs are not included. We recommend dimmable, warm white light, around 2700 K, so that the metal of the fitting comes into its own.
We are happy to help with lighting planning — how many light points a room needs and where they should go. Get in touch or visit us in Östermalm.
