Mulberry Home

Mulberry was founded in 1971 in Somerset and built its name on leather bags in which the craftsmanship was the whole point. Twenty years later, in 1991, Mulberry Home was launched to bring the same tradition into the home. The foundation is the same as in the bags: materials with weight, hand-crafted details and an English country feel that is as much shooting estate as city flat.

The fabrics are built on woven qualities, with tweed and tartan as a recurring base. The wools are woven in Scotland, several of them exclusively for Mulberry Home, in timeless checks and plaids. To these come narrative prints with motifs from the British countryside — hunting, nature and animals — along with velvets and trimmings. The palette follows the materials and stays muted and earthy.
