Visual Comfort & Co. – designer lighting from world-leading designers
Decorative lighting as an integral part of the interior since 1987.
Visual Comfort & Co. was founded in 1987 in Houston, Texas, by Andy Singer. The ambition was clear from the outset: decorative lighting should not be treated as a finishing touch, but as a fundamental part of a room's design. The business began with classic pharmacy lamps and went on to become an international lighting house with a wide range of fixtures for the whole home.
Collaborations with outside designers became a central part of the brand's identity. The first collection, Chart House by Chapman & Myers, was launched in 1996. Since then Visual Comfort & Co. has worked with several of the world's best-known interior designers, including AERIN, Kelly Wearstler, Thomas O’Brien, Suzanne Kasler and Alexa Hampton. Each collection carries the designer's own signature, giving the range great breadth without compromising the shared feel for materials, proportions and refined detail.
At Brittfurn you will find a wide selection of Visual Comfort lighting, from pendants and chandeliers to table lamps, floor lamps, wall lights and outdoor lighting. Natural materials, hand-applied finishes and carefully judged proportions make it possible to choose fixtures that suit classic and modern settings alike. The range also serves as a natural starting point when several rooms are to be lit with different expressions but the same level of quality.
If you would like to compare the designers' collections, see how different finishes change when the fixtures are lit or get help planning the lighting for an entire room, you are welcome to our showroom in Ă–stermalm, Stockholm. There you can experience Visual Comfort & Co. up close and receive personal advice before you decide.
