Pondus
Pondus emerges where Classic meets Urban. The expression takes the classic proportions and craftsmanship of Classic and meets them with the sharpness and contrast of Urban. Tradition with tempo — worldly and self-assured, without raising its voice.
The palette is deep: midnight blue, burgundy, dark green and black, lifted by gold and polished brass. Walnut, marble, velvet, bronze, leather and heavy textiles give the expression weight. Colours that give the room authority and the evening a glow.
Pondus is the expression where rugs carry the most weight — almost one in four products here is a rug. Of just over 1 300 products, around 520 are fabrics, 317 rugs, 178 furniture pieces, 220 wallpapers and 65 lamps. The brands include Ralph Lauren Home, Cole & Son, Mulberry Home, Zoffany and Jonathan Charles.
Pondus suits you if you:
- want classic forms but find that traditional easily becomes sleepy
- like deep colours, velvet and brass that is allowed to shine
- are decorating a dining room, library or hallway that should make an impression straight away
- are looking for exclusive fabrics and wallpapers with weight in their expression
