Bound edges are our standard option, using high-quality binding tape thick enough that the texture of the rug does not show through. The tapes are available in several materials, both natural materials such as linen and cotton, and recycled PET in the hard-wearing MULTIEDGE edge. For a slightly more luxurious feel there is both the suede-effect DURALUX and Elmo Leather, stitched from natural hide.

For a rug that will be used outdoors or in a space with strong sunlight, we recommend MULTIEDGE Outdoor to avoid fading and colour changes.

All tapes are available in several colours, and the tape width can usually be adjusted between 30-100mm.
