Behind the Talia ceiling light is Julie Neill, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.
The finish is Gild With Clear Swirled Glass. The materials are brass and glass.
It measures 129,5 cm in width and 54,6 cm in height. It weighs 12,7 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. It is a fitting in the larger format. Over a dining table you want the width to be roughly half the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.
The Talia ceiling light is at its best in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. The look leans towards classic design. Choose a warm-white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. You are welcome to visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
