Behind the Agnes pendant is AERIN, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.
The finish is Matte Black With Gild Interior. The material is brass.
The width is 25.4 cm. It weighs 1.8 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. Its compact size makes it well suited to groupings — several hung in a row over a kitchen island or a longer table.
The Agnes pendant is at its best in kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms. Its character leans towards classic design. Choose a warm white bulb of around 2700 K and ideally connect a dimmer — the lighting needs to be adjustable between day and evening.
Visual Comfort & Co. works with invited designers rather than an in-house studio. That is why the range spans from restrained neoclassical to outright decorative — each series carries its creator's signature. AERIN is one of the designers the house works with.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
