Maracanda from Nina Campbell, from the collection of the same name, is a tribute to traditional textile art. The large-scale suzani design draws its inspiration from antique Central Asian textiles, in which vividly coloured circular motifs and meandering tendrils are framed by a decorative border. The tactile texture of the embroidery recreates the feel of historical hand embroidery through a combination of flowing stitches and defined chain-stitch borders, giving the surface a fine depth and a lively character.

The quality is built on a harmonious balance of linen and polyester, combining the natural drape of linen with the strength of polyester. With a rub count of 30,000 Martindale, Maracanda is ideal for upholstery, as well as for heavy, elegant curtains and sumptuous cushions. The generous pattern repeat of 64 cm is especially attractive on larger surfaces where the motif can take centre stage. The fabric is offered in three considered colourways: Indigo/Blue/Ivory, Red/Teal and Aqua/Ochre/Ivory.
