Riptide is an exclusive embroidered fabric panel from the Italian textile house Dedar in Milan, created to give furniture and textiles a unique, artistic expression. The pattern is defined by a flowing, unbroken gesture reminiscent of an artist's energetic brushstrokes across a canvas. The dense embroidery is made using a craft technique in which yarns and ribbons are interlaced in layers, giving the surface a distinctly three-dimensional feel and a dynamic sense of life. The light, textured ground cloth forms a harmonious contrast with the dark lines and highlights the detailed craftsmanship in a sophisticated way.

With its graphic character, Riptide is exceptionally well suited to creating focal points in a room, for example as chair backs, decorative pads or striking scatter cushions. As the pattern can be placed in different directions or set off-centre, the panel invites free interpretation and personal compositions.
