Pelagic console table from Jonathan Charles is a console table that carries all the finest qualities of the British furniture-making tradition. It belongs to the JC Modern - Water collection, firmly rooted in flowing organic forms. Here, smooth surfaces and soft curves come together in a design inspired by the movement of water, and Pelagic console table carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Made by Jonathan Charles's craftspeople, with every layer of finish, every cut and every joint done by hand — a process that takes time but gives the furniture a depth that cannot be copied. At home, Pelagic console table works as a console table with architectural presence in the hallway, behind the sofa or along a long wall. The proportions are carefully judged so the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Place it behind a sofa to create a natural "room within a room". A piece that does more than serve a purpose — it also anchors the room in a long tradition of crafted quality.
