Mirella from Colefax & Fowler is an exquisite small-scale design inspired by Southeast Asian ikat textiles, from the Tremaine collection. The geometric diamond pattern is woven with a very fine chenille that gives the fabric a soft, lively feel. At the centre of each motif, a variegated chenille yarn creates subtle movement in the colour, giving the surface beautiful depth and a sophisticated lustre without taking over the room.

Thanks to its supple quality and fine texture, Mirella is as well suited to stately curtains that hang with weight and grace as it is to elegant upholstery or decorative cushions. The small-scale pattern makes the fabric easy to combine with both plain linens and richer velvets.
