Kasper belongs to the Gloriana collection from Jane Churchill and is a work of textile art with a striking, lively character. The fabric unites traditional hand-painted block printing with finely embroidered details, creating a fascinating interplay between the genuinely handcrafted and the sophisticatedly textured. Geometric triangles and irregular stripes give the surface a charming, naive character in which the natural variations of craft are allowed to show. A two-colour embroidered border frames the design, adding subtle depth and an elegant sense of relief that lifts the fabric's visual impression.

The blend of linen, viscose and polyester gives the textile a wonderful drape and a soft, pleasant hand that makes it particularly well suited to curtains. When light filters through the weave, the texture of the block-printed areas and the precision of the embroidery come through beautifully. The generous scale of the stripes and the considered colour combinations mean Kasper works equally well in a classic room looking for a modern accent and in a more contemporary interior. It is a textile choice that brings character, warmth and an artistic feel to the window without overpowering the rest of the room's architecture.
