Iuta är en randig väv från Nobilis kollektion Opus, där det parisiska huset låter modevärldens djupa färgpalett flytta in i hemtextilen. Namnet är italienska för jute, och just jutefibern spelar huvudrollen i den rika kompositionen tillsammans med bomull, viskos och polyester — ett materialmöte som ger ränderna en påtagligt taktil, rustik karaktär med förfinad finish. Resultatet känns både jordnära och urbant, som grovt hantverk sett genom ett couture-öga.

Med en slitstyrka på 60 000 Martindale är Iuta betydligt tåligare än sin rustika yta antyder — klä gärna en fåtölj, sittbänk eller pall och låt randmönstret ge möbeln riktning och karaktär. Tyget gör sig också vackert i romerska gardiner och som praktkuddar där strukturen får synas på nära håll. Kombinera Iuta med släta kvaliteter i någon av rändernas djupare toner, så får rummet den där avvägda blandningen av grovt och fint som franska Nobilis behärskar så väl.
