Valais Cobalt har en lång, luden lugg där små tofsar i kobolt, indigo och grönt strös ut över en off-white botten. Effekten är den av konfetti eller av ängsblommor sedda uppifrån — glest, oregelbundet, och tillräckligt lekfullt för att lätta upp ett strikt rum.
