The Bossa nova fabric from Osborne & Little is based on geometric structure.

The pattern has a straight match, which simplifies making up. Bossa nova is available in 5 colourways — Navy, Magenta, Ivory/multi, Gold, among others. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Jive by margo selby collection.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven in a viscose blend. At 25 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

We recommend Bossa nova for living rooms and bedrooms. The look brings graphic crispness, a modern touch and strength of colour, on a dark ground. It suits curtains just as well as upholstery — keep the other textiles in the room simple.

The palette is dominated by blue, dark and deep in tone, with a cool undertone. Consider which way the room faces — north light pulls colours cooler than they appear on screen.
