Description

Owen Jones was a Victorian architect, designer and renowned commentator on decorative ornament. His book "The Grammar of Ornament" published in 1856 was a superbly illustrated catalogue encompassing all decorative styles and influences from around the world. The Owen Jones wallpaper featuring a simple fleur de lys, a typical Jones motif, first appeared in the Morris & Co. Volume III collection. This universally recognised geometric trellis design is available in both rich and neutral colours and provides a wonderful backdrop to Morris prints and fabrics.
