myrna-taklampa
Myrna ceiling light — Alexa Hampton for Visual Comfort & Co.

The Myrna ceiling light is the work of Alexa Hampton, who designs for Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the tabletop.

The finish is Natural Brass With Linen Shades. The material is brass.

It measures 83.9 cm in width and 53.4 cm in height. It weighs 12.7 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 1-3 weeks. This is a larger-format fitting. Over a dining table, you ideally want the width to be roughly half that of the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.

The Myrna ceiling light comes into its own in living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms. Its character leans towards classic design. Choose a warm white bulb of around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adapt between day and evening.

Lighting is hard to judge from a photo. You are welcome to visit our showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting switched on.
